Fraser
Island, the largest sand island in the world,
was recognised for it's unique and diverse blend of eco systems as well as
the myriad of plant and animals species that call it home, by being
inscribed on the World Heritage Listed.
Spanning for 163,000
hectares, Fraser Island houses an amazing variety of stunning landscape,
from surf beaches, mountainous sand dunes and coloured sands to the
beautiful fresh water lakes, crystal clear creeks and ancient rainforests
in the heart of the island.
Whilst on your tour you
will stop off at Eurong Beach Resort which is located approximately 35
kilometers from the most southern tip of Fraser Island. Centrally
located, Eurong Beach Resort is within close distance to the popular sites
that Fraser Island has to offer, including Central Station where you can
take a walk along the boardwalk beside the fresh water Wanggoolba Creek
and stroll under the canopy of the tropical rainforest that is the heart
of Fraser Island.
Visit the near by stunning
fresh water lakes such as Lake McKenzie where you can go for a swim in the
crystal clear water and soak up the sun on the pristine, white beaches.
