After lunch the tour heads inland to the
beautiful Lake Wabby where you have the chance to swim and to explore
the area. Take the opportunity to hike over the massive sand blow
that is slowly consuming the lake, or just stroll through the
surrounding bush before traveling back to the resort for your gourmet,
three course dinner. That evening you can take a moonlit dip in
the resort pool, socialise at the bar, join in on some karoke or just
chill out and watch some cable TV.
On your second day after your
scrumptious buffet breakfast, rejoin the tour and cruise along Seventy
Five Mile Beach and visit the coloured sands of the Cathedrals, the
Maheno Shipwreck and the fresh water Eli Creek where you have the
opportunity for a swim.

After lunch Lake
McKenzie is next on the agenda where you spend the rest of the afternoon
just relaxing on the white, silica sand, exploring the area or swimming
in the crystal clear, fresh water before heading back to Hervey Bay.
Those who are traveling back along the coast to Noosa will also
encounter the Cherry Venture Shipwreck and the coloured sands at Rainbow
Beach. This must be pre-booked.
The 3 Day Adventure
Safari continues back to the resort that evening, and the next morning
passengers have the choice of a day of leisure at Eurong Beach Resort or
to continue the tour to the northern parts of the island. This
must be pre-booked. Hike to the top of Indian Head and take in the
panoramic views of the ocean and Fraser Island, witness the sharks
feasting in the waters below and spot other marine life that are
frequent the area. Continue around the point to Middle Rock and
the stunning Champagne Pools where you have time for a swim.
Those who choose the day
of leisure have the opportunity to fish, swim, bush walk, join a scenic
flight or hire a 4WD to explore the island your self. Please note
scenic flights and 4WD hire are an additional cost. That afternoon
the tour will depart Fraser Island, return to Hervey Bay and drop you
off at your accommodation.
