Join the friendly crew on the 3 Day Camping Safari for one of the most comprehensive tours available of World Heritage Fraser Island. Your 3 Day Camping Safari includes two nights twin share accommodation in the comfortable tent village located at Cathedral Beach, quality meals, national park fees, transfers to the island and courtesy pick up from your Hervey Bay accommodation. Tours depart Tuesdays and Fridays which allows you a full three days to explore the magnificent Fraser Island.

A personalised tour is ensured with each tour taking a maximum of 16 passengers aboard the purpose built, air conditioned, 4WD coaches. Modern equipment and satellite phones ensure a comfortable and safe journey across the world's largest sand island.



	Day 1:- Your journey begins with a courtesy pick up from your Hervey Bay accommodation before transferring to Fraser Island via vehicle barge. Once you have arrived on Fraser Island, journey across the heart of the island, through the lush forests to Lake Allom, home to the local freshwater turtles. Here you have the opportunity to explore the local area whilst you stop for your picnic lunch. Next the tour takes you to Knifeblade Sandblow before traveling down Seventy Five Mile Beach to the Maheno Shipwreck, the coloured sands and the fresh water Eli Creek. That evening return to Cathedral Beach for dinner and your accommodation.

Day 2:- After your delicious breakfast at Cathedral Beach, continue up to the northern parts of Fraser Island and hike to the top of Indian Head, go for a swim in the gorgeous Champagne Pools and visit Orchid Beach. Throughout the day you have plenty of opportunities for walks, a swim and time to take photographs. After a picnic lunch the tour returns to Cathedral Beach Resort by mid afternoon allowing guests time to relax, go bushwalking, swimming, or fishing off the beach. That night enjoy a sumptuous BBQ dinner before retiring to your accommodation at Cathedral Beach Resort.

	Day 3:- After breakfast at Cathedral Beach, the tour travels along the island's highway, Seventy Five Mile Beach, and heads inland to Lake Wabby. Here you have the opportunity for a swim, explore the area or just relax. You continue to Happy Valley where a gorgeous tropical buffet lunch has been prepared for you at the Fraser Island Wilderness Retreat. Journey through the heart of Fraser Island and travel through Yidney Scrub Rainforest, go for another swim at Boomerang Lakes and also enjoy some birdwatching and bushwalking. That afternoon the tour continues back to Moon Point to meet with the barge for your return journey to Hervey Bay. Transfers to your Hervey Bay accommodation are also included.
